Just like my world right now, my mind is scattered with thoughts. What should I write about? Should I write right now? Or should I finish the eBay listings? Upload the Craigslist posts? Tag and inventory items headed to the gallery? Getting rid of stuff is my focus.

The laundry’s done, the sheets are on the line, the booth is ready for the Farmer’s Market on Sunday. I’ve finally showered. I’ll take 5 minutes and write while I decide. And…that’s how it starts. Coming back to my starting point has been an absolute flurry, especially after the quiet of the road. The slow mornings waking in the campgrounds, long walks, reflection by fires in the evenings. I’m reminded daily how much I disliked juggling while running on the hamster wheel.

But, I left unfinished business behind. Too much of it.

Piles of treasures I thought I wasn’t ready to decide what to do with. A small houseful of apartment/tiny home necessities. Every doctor/dentist/optometrist appointment I didn’t do before I left. My advice, just do all those things before you go. Let it all go, and be free of the future stress you’re creating.

My brain feels ready to explode with the juggling of everything needing to get done. I’m ready to have my peace back.

I’m moving forward in lightning speed. Working my tail off trying to catch up for the 9 months of work I played hookey. Doctor’s appointments all went well, all lab work completed. Turns out I’m just a little old lady. Vitamins, exercise, and sunshine. That’s the regimen. My own personal out-of-lab test experiment had excellent results. Though my Vitamin D levels were still low, the Florida sunshine raised them from abysmally low. Instead of supplementing with vitamins, adding sunshine by leaving Michigan in the winter did the trick. Now, I just need to find natural calcium. Hot springs somewhere? In the meantime, the hot tub here is down for repair. I’ve missed it every day, as I’ve carried my stuff around, photographing it, measuring it, and making listings for eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook posts. Before Hippie Fest, I finished 20 items and listed them on eBay. Six sold.
Now, I have another 20 listings for eBay, and another 15 for local online sales. Trick is, you pick out everything which might sell online for at least $50. If they’re easily shipped, list them on eBay. It’s generally the best return. If not, make a listing for them to sell locally. You can cross post the same ad between Craigslist and your local Facebook marketplace groups. There are lots of buy/sell groups in your area on Facebook. Just ask to join the group, then post away after reading their “rules”. Everything else goes in the garage sale, which is happening here at the end of the month. Along with anything which didn’t sell through the higher money avenues. When I leave Michigan this time, I won’t have to return unless I want to. I thought I had total freedom the first time I left, but the mirage turned into a pile of things to do when I got close again.

This time, if it doesn’t fit in the camper or my car, I’m not keeping it.

Unless it fits in my bank account.
