If you are an online poker enthusiast in Indonesia or elsewhere in Asia, you have likely heard of IDN Poker. This gaming platform is an online poker network developed by IDN Play, which originated in Indonesia. Although its servers are not located within the Indonesian archipelago—but rather in Manila, the Philippines—IDN Poker remains deeply associated with Indonesia, primarily because the vast majority of its players hail from across the country.

The strengths of IDNPoker lie in its server speed and a customer service team that is always ready to assist. Its constantly updated collection of games serves as a major draw for fans of the IDNPlay platform.

History and Background

IDN Poker was first introduced in 2014 in Cambodia as a pioneering service from IDN Play. In its early stages, IDN Poker was accessible only through two agent sites: Dewapoker and Poker88. Shortly thereafter, it also appeared on the online gambling platform Mansion88 (M88).

At that time, many Indonesians were becoming increasingly fond of online poker—specifically Texas Hold'em—driven by the popularity of Zynga Poker, which was widely played on Facebook. Consequently, the arrival of IDN Poker was quickly embraced by those seeking an alternative to Zynga Poker, particularly individuals interested in playing poker for real money.

Not long after, IDN Play shifted its strategy to further expand the network. Since 2016, IDN Poker has operated as an open white-label platform. Following this shift, hundreds of websites—acting as agents (or "skins") for IDN Poker—emerged. These agent websites quickly enlivened the online poker market in Indonesia and across Asia by offering various promotions and bonuses to attract new customers.

Network Scheme

In essence, IDN Poker is an Asian online poker network composed of numerous agent sites affiliated under the IDN Play white-label banner. These agent sites serve as intermediaries for players; users can only access the IDN Poker platform through one of these agent sites. The agent sites manage their members' needs, including payment transactions—such as deposits and withdrawals—as well as other administrative tasks, such as password resets, handling complaints, and addressing inquiries.

In online poker and domino games, players compete against one another (player vs. player). Opponents may come from the same agent site or from different ones. IDN Poker acts as a facilitator, providing the platform that brings players together. For this service, IDN Poker deducts a 3% commission from the total wagers placed during a game. Of this 3% commission, the agent website receives a 2.2% share from the wagers made by its own members, while IDN Poker, as the facilitator, retains 0.8%.

Licenses and Certification

IDN Play, the holding company for IDN Poker, holds an online gambling license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), an official government agency in the Philippines. You may verify this information yourself in the relevant documentation.

Furthermore, their peer-to-peer (P2P) online poker application has passed Random Number Generator (RNG) testing and received certification from BMM Testlabs, an independent gaming application testing laboratory based in Las Vegas, United States.

What Games Does IDN Poker Offer?

Initially, IDN Poker’s offerings consisted exclusively of card games played with standard poker decks and domino sets. However, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the platform has expanded to include other categories of online gambling such as slots, sports betting, live casino games, and lottery (togel).

Texas Hold'em Poker

Texas Hold'em Poker is the most popular poker card game variant. Two cards, known as hole cards, are dealt face down to each player, and then five community cards are dealt on the table in three stages. The stages consist of a series of three cards (the flop), then an additional card (the turn), and a final card (the river). Each player looks for the best five-card poker combination from the seven cards available: the five community cards and their two hole cards. Players have betting options to check, call, raise, or fold. Betting rounds begin before the flop is dealt and after each subsequent deal. The player who has the best hand and has not folded at the end of all betting rounds wins all the betting money (pot) for that hand.

Domino QQ

Domino QQ, or Kiu Kiu, is a highly popular domino-based card game in Indonesia, often referred to as "99 domino poker." It is played using a standard double-six domino set, which consists of 28 cards. A table can accommodate a maximum of six players, with each player receiving four cards. Before a round begins, players must contribute a fixed bet to the pot; then, three dominoes are dealt to each player face down. After examining their cards, players take turns placing bets in a clockwise direction. Much like in poker, players have the options to check, call, raise, or fold. Those who do not fold during the first round are dealt a fourth card. Once this fourth card has been examined, players place another round of bets in turn. If more than one player remains in the game—meaning they have not folded—a showdown takes place among the remaining participants. The player with the best hand wins the entire pot.

Bandar Ceme

"Bandar Ceme"—also known as "Bandar Kiu"—is a domino card game that is quite popular in Indonesia. The game involves up to 9 players, with one person acting as the "bandar" (dealer). The other eight players compare their respective cards against the dealer's. Each participant is dealt two cards. To win a bet, a player must hold a hand with a higher value than the dealer's. If a player’s hand value is equal to the dealer’s, the dealer wins the bet against that player. The highest possible value is 9, while the lowest is 0. A player who achieves a value of 9 is paid double their bet amount by the dealer.

Ceme Keliling

The game of Ceme Keliling is almost identical to Bandar Ceme. The only difference lies in the dealer position; in Ceme Keliling, the role of the dealer rotates clockwise after each round. If a player whose turn it is to be the dealer does not have enough chips to meet the table's requirements, the dealer position is automatically passed to the next player.

Capsa Susun

Capsa Susun, also known as Chinese Poker is a card game based on poker hand rankings. The game is quite accessible for beginners, who can start with just a basic understanding of these rankings. The format of Capsa Susun allows for unpredictable outcomes due to the significant element of luck involved; this means that even a novice player has a good chance of winning against an experienced opponent.

Capsa Susun is played by up to four players, with each player receiving 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck. Each player must then organize their cards into three separate sets: two sets consisting of five cards each (referred to as the "middle" and "back" sets) and one set consisting of three cards (the "front" set). The back set must be the highest-ranking hand, while the front set must be the lowest-ranking hand.

Pot Limit Omaha

Pot Limit Omaha—often referred to simply as Omaha Poker—is a style of poker similar to Texas Hold'em Poker. Each player is dealt four hole cards, and there are five community cards placed on the table. Players must form the best possible hand using exactly two of their hole cards and three of the community cards. This poker variant strikes a balance between skill and luck, offering a significantly greater potential for large wins.

Pot Limit Omaha is played under "Pot Limit" rules, meaning the maximum bet allowed is determined by the current size of the pot. Unlike in No Limit Texas Hold’em, players do not always have the option to wager all of their chips at once.

Super 10

Super 10 is a simple game inspired by the game known as Samgong, or "Three Picture." The primary difference between the two is that in Super 10, players compete against one another, whereas in Samgong, players compete against a dealer.

At the start of the game, each player is dealt two cards, followed by the distribution of one additional card. The objective of the game is to achieve the highest total value from the cards in one's hand, with 10 being the highest possible value.

Super Bull

Super Bull, also known as Niu-Niu Poker, is a card game played between players and a dealer. In this game, the role of the dealer rotates among the players in a clockwise direction, similar to the game *Ceme Keliling*. Unlike *Ceme*, which uses dominoes, Super Bull is played using a standard deck of playing cards.

At the start of the game, players determine the number of chips they wish to wager against the dealer. Subsequently, five cards are dealt to each player, including the dealer. The objective of Super Bull is to organize these five cards into two sets: one consisting of three cards and the other of two cards. The first three cards must form a "Bull"—meaning their sum must be a multiple of 10—while the remaining two cards determine your final hand value.

QQ Spirit

QQ Spirit is a game that combines elements of Bandar Ceme and Domino QQ. Played with a standard set of dominoes, each player competes against the dealer. There are two types of tables available: "FIXED" tables and regular tables. At a FIXED table, the dealer's position remains constant, whereas at a regular table, the dealer position rotates clockwise every three rounds.

The gameplay is similar to Ceme Keliling; a player who achieves the highest hand value (nine) receives a double payout. If a player and the dealer hold the same hand value, the dealer is declared the winner. In QQ Spirit, however, players have the option to double their bet after receiving their initial cards. Additionally, players may choose to draw a third card if they are dissatisfied with the value of the two cards they have already been dealt.

Other Game Categories

Bored with poker or domino games? IDN Poker offers various other categories of online gambling as alternatives. On any official agent site, players can now access non-card games, such as slots, sports betting, and more. This means there is no need to switch to a different site if you wish to play slots or place live sports bets for a change of pace.

The following are other game categories on the IDN Poker platform:

  • Slots
  • Sports Betting
  • Live Casino
  • Lottery (Togel)
  • Esports
  • Arcade
  • Stream N Spin

Currency and Payment Methods

IDN Poker uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) as the primary currency on its platform. Nevertheless, players from other countries can still participate by converting their local currency based on real-time exchange rates. This requires using an agent site that accommodates payments in foreign currencies. If you wish to play but cannot find an agent site that accepts your local currency, an alternative option is to use cryptocurrency. To our knowledge, there is currently one agent site that accepts cryptocurrency payments: Nirwanapoker. You can visit the site via the link we have provided here.

The most common payment methods on IDN Poker agent sites include:

  • Local Indonesian bank transfers
  • E-wallet top-ups
  • QRIS
  • Mobile credit transfers (via GSM operators Telkomsel and XL/Axis)

Using the QRIS payment method typically results in faster processing for both deposits and withdrawals—often taking only 1–3 seconds.

Features and Facilities

In this section, we will outline the key features and primary facilities of IDN Poker that make it so appealing to enthusiasts of poker and domino card games.

Mobile Application (APK)

In addition to accessing games via a desktop PC, players on the IDN Poker network can also use a dedicated mobile application. Initially, the mobile version of IDN Poker was available for both Android and iOS devices; however, for reasons unknown, the iOS application is no longer offered. Consequently, mobile access to IDN Poker is currently limited to Android-based smartphones and tablets. You can download the latest Android version of the application via the link provided below.

Online Tournaments

IDN Poker offers tournament facilities for players looking to test their skills and abilities against others in a competitive setting. When it first launched, IDN Poker only provided poker tournaments that players could enter using "Tcoins." Over time, however, the platform introduced tournaments that require a buy-in. In addition to daily buy-in tournaments, IDN Poker hosts special tournament events, typically held every four months. These tournaments, titled "Road to 1 Billion," are currently in their 26th season at the time of writing. You can learn more about these high-stakes tournaments by visiting the official website here.

Jackpot

There are six IDN Poker games that feature a jackpot: Texas Poker, Domino QQ, Bandar Ceme, Ceme Keliling, Blackjack dan Super Bull. This jackpot feature is not available for free; to qualify for a jackpot prize, players must purchase a jackpot entry before the game round begins. The available jackpot purchase amounts are 50, 100, 200, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 of IDR.

The largest prize multiplier is 30,000x, awarded for a Super Royal Flush jackpot. The following is a breakdown of the IDN Poker jackpot multipliers:

  • Super Royal Flush = x 30.000
  • Royal Flush = x 10.000
  • Straight Flush = x 1.200
  • Four of A Kind = x 250
  • Full House = x 10
  • Enam Dewa = x 6.666
  • Balak = x 100
  • Murni Kecil/Besar = x 50

Rakeback

Rakeback is essentially the same as "rolling"—a term more familiar to players in Indonesia and other parts of Asia. Rakeback is a reward system for players, introduced around 2004, through which online poker sites or their affiliates return a portion of the rake or tournament entry fees paid by players, serving as an incentive for them to continue playing on the website.

In IDN Poker cash games, rakeback is calculated using a "distributed" method. This approach allocates an equal percentage of the rakeback to every eligible player. The specific percentage varies across different online poker sites affiliated with IDN Poker; IDN Play allows each site the autonomy to determine its own rakeback percentage for its players. Rakeback is distributed once a week, every Tuesday between 10:00 and 14:00 WIB, which coincides with the network's scheduled routine maintenance.
